    CCSE professor receives NIA grant to research GlucoCheck device

    Dr. Maria Valero, Ph.D. received a grant award of $188,900 for 1 year from National Institute of Health (NIH) and National Institute of Aging (NIA) A2 Pilot Program. The grant funding has been awarded to run pilot experimentation of the GlucoCheck device, including data from older adults, improvement of the AI model, and user acceptance of the device. Co-Investigators in this project include; Dr. Katherine Ingram (WellStar College) and Dr. Hossain Shahriar, Dr. Paola Spoletini.
