Computing Showcase (C-Day)+ More Information
The College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) Computing Showcase (C-Day) is a biannual event that takes place at the end of fall and spring semesters where participating students showcase some of the richest activity at CCSE. As students prepare for graduation they present posters and games highlighting their experiences within internships, team projects, and capstone and thesis work.
Hackathon+ More Information
The CCSE Hackathon is the College’s premier event in showcasing student talent and connecting companies to our students. Through dedicated “threads” (aka themes) within the event, companies can raise awareness of opportunities for students to work with them, increase brand awareness, and locate top talent for computing workforce. Students can hone their skills, apply the knowledge they gain inside the classroom in authentic, real-world problems, and connect with internship and job opportunities.
Game Jam+ More Information
A game jam is a gathering for the purpose of planning, designing, and creating one or more games within a short span of time, usually ranging between 24 and 72 hours. Game developers are generally made up of programmers, game designers, artists, and others in game development-related fields.
Internship Networking Event+ More Information
The CCSE Internship Networking Night is a flash networking event where student can connect with potential employers. Students are encoured to be interview ready and have plenty of resumes on hand!

HPC Code Camp
The College of Computing and Software Engineering is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for students in computing to earn up to $300 while studying High Performance Computing (HPC) for Big Data:
With a special HPC CODE CAMP (May 10-11, 2018 from 8:30AM – 5:00PM, at J-251, KSU Marietta Campus)
Leading to a special section of ACST 3340 or ACS 6830 offered summer 2018 regular semester (offered primarily online, with five F2F meetings)
Leading to completion of a High Performance Computing Certificate.

2nd Annual CCSE 2107 ACM-ICPC Programming Competition
Date: Saturday, November 11, 2017
We had an enormous success on Saturday, Nov 11, 2017, 8:00am-8:00pm, as we hosted CCSE 2nd annual ACM-ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest headquartered at https://icpc.baylor.edu/, the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest over 50 years in the world, as 19 Colleges and Universities from Southeast regional participated here at CCSE/KSU. This event is sponsored by ACM-ICPC.
There were 218 participants attended such as Auburn, Clemson, Ga Tech, Morehouse college, Voldasta, UGA, USG, Mississippi State, Mercer, etc., including the 63 team of three contestants (12 teams of three from KSU)+ coaches, volunteers from ACM, IEEE-Computer Society, WIT-Campus, and AITP Student Chapters participated.
