CCSE Welcomes Dr. Sumanth Yenduri as Department Chair of the Department of Software Engineering & Game Development
The College of Computing and Software Engineering is pleased to announce that Dr. Sumanth Yenduri has been appointed Department Chair of Software Engineering & Game Development starting July 1, 2019.
Dr. Yenduri earned his PhD in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and is an accomplished leader in the computing field with strong research background in Wireless Sensor Networks, Software Metrics, Big Data & Software Engineering, and Process Development. He has served on numerous conference program and technical committees and editorial advisory boards for journals and has numerous proceeding, book, and journal publications and grant awards
Dr. Yenduri comes to Kennesaw State University from Southeast Missouri State University where he has been Professor and Chairperson in their Department of Computer Science since 2017. Prior to his work at Southeast Missouri State University, Dr. Yenduri served as an Associate Professor and Administrative Fellow at Columbus State University and an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at University of Southern Mississippi.
