Welcome to the College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) at Kennesaw State University!

Our mission is connecting people and technology to improve lives and advance computing throughout Georgia and the world.

CCSE serves as home to nearly 5,000 students, has an experienced team of faculty and staff, and offers innovative programs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Game Design and Development, Information Technology, and Data Science and Analytics. We offer Minor, Certificate, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. programs.

Computing is most impactful when it intersects with other fields; as such, CCSE students and faculty collaborate with other disciplines to apply computing in new ways to solve today’s most challenging problems. Programs of study built on a foundation of theory and practice prepare CCSE graduates for global career success through the ability to:

  • Adjust to ever-changing technology and workflows;
  • Collaborate with teams, different industry domains, and partner companies;
  • Apply computing research principles in current and emerging areas; and
  • Transform lives with service-based learning and community service.

Students work with partner companies as interns, on funded capstone projects, and in service-based learning projects, with mentorship from the College’s expert faculty. Our professors have experience in a diverse portfolio of research areas. Students, faculty, and industry partners have access to world-class facilities via cutting-edge technology, hardware, and software through our research labs and centers.

If you want to make a difference, have an impact on the world, and grow opportunities through computing, we welcome you to join us and be a part of the CCSE community.
