Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology Online Orientation

Welcome to the online orientation for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology! This degree is what is called a "2+2" degree, meaning that students transfer in to the program with an Associate of Applied Science in a computing field from a Technical College System of Georgia Institution (which takes approximately 2 years) and most students taking classes full time will graduate 2 years later with a Bachelor's degree. This degree is very specific in that it is only eligible to students with Associates of Applied Science degrees in a computing field. If you aren't sure that this applies to you, click on "Your Degree Program" in the navigation area for the BASIT online orientation to see more.

We are very excited that you have chosen to complete your bachelor's degree with us here in Information Technology. Kennesaw State University (KSU) is part of the University System of Georgia and offers Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees. KSU has two main campuses - in Kennesaw, GA and Marietta, GA. The Information Technology department, including faculty and staff are located at the Marietta campus.

There will be a section on "Frequently Asked Questions" that, hopefully, will answer many of the questions you will have. Any other questions after completing this orientation should be directed to Dr. Yang through KSU email: myang8@kennesaw.edu.
